OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Reconditioning Supervisor to lead our vehicle reconditioning team. In this role, you will oversee the repair, restoration, and detailing of vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence across all reconditioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of internal Recon Assistants Technicians responsible for inspecting and repairing used vehicles before they are re-sold including auto body repair, painting, detailing, and mechanical work.
• Coordinate with technicians and team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of vehicle restorations.
• Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, buffing equipment, and auto glass installation tools to perform repairs accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies, including heavy lifting protocols and proper handling of auto parts.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills in welding, auto painting, auto body repair, and detailing.
• Write and book repair orders.
• Work with used car manager to decide what needs to be repaired and what the budget is on a particular vehicle
• Update used car department on the status of used cars being repaired

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred.
• Two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have a passion and aptitude for auto repair technologies
• Must have an impressive work ethic
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
